Early Days Holiday Club

 

Whilst we are beginning the transition to being a 51 week provision, Holiday Club will still be offered to external families ,although it will eventually be phased out by 2029 (latest).  Our Holiday Clubs are all about the child/children – we plan a range of exciting and stimulating activities based around a weekly theme with the activities varying for the different age groups. It is the children’s holiday time so we aim to ensure they have the opportunity to play, explore and relax whilst having fun with friends. Some of our themes are: Dinosaurs, Fairy-tales, Space, Movie week and Science week.

We welcome all children aged 2.5 years old and above irrespective of whether they attend or have attended the nursery. They often form new friendships and look forward to meeting up every holiday.

Our minimum session time is 8.45 am to 4.00 pm but these times can be extended at either end of the day with the ealiest start time being 7.30 am and our latest pick up time being 6.00 pm.  Children attending after 4.00 pm will be served tea.   Our 2-5 year olds will typically enjoy activities based around a theme which include cooking, arts and crafts, singing, sand and water play, sports and more.  Our older 4 and 5 year olds will have the opportunity to join in more extended activities such as treasure hunts, farm walks, and more challenging activities.
